Personal Thoughts on Media Narrative (Part 2)

“So Gad went and said to David, “Do you choose to endure three years of famine in your land, three months of fleeing the pursuit of your enemies, or three days of plague upon your land? Now then, think it over and decide how I should reply to Him who sent me.”

– 2 Samuel 24:13.
The greatest puppet of the government today is the mainstream media and its prints.
There is a reason mainstream media will never tell us of well-beings, only ills. Why? They sell well when its consumers are fearful and paranoid: fear sells.
I strongly believe the greatest enemy of the people today, after the government, is mainstream media.
Technology may well be the greatest human invention, but it is safe to say it has made many a man dumber in an age where almost everyone boasts of their sophistication so-called.
It is almost impossible to be accepted these days if you dare think for yourself. Don't question Big Brother, they say. Or, Big Brother is watching YOU, we're constantly reminded! We don't do that here.
[Some] Journalists and politicians are married unless Truth proclaims the divorce.
Discernment. Discernment. Discernment.
As most of man's sins are in his words, so also most  faults of mainstream media are in its daily reporting and print. Propaganda.
Social media in general makes us zombies glued in our little screens.
Photo by Markus Winkler on Unsplash.
One day the blindfolded and manipulated mass will fully wake up, but alas, it will be too late.
Fear makes us lick and lip gloss the government. The State is my Shepherd.
Who will teach the next generation what "thinking" is?
Lies have taken over; no one wants truth.
"I'm a journalist." No, you're not! Some of you are nincompoop!
Politicians are masters of deceit.
Man, be really thankful your fellow man does not control oxygen. A lunatic would turn it off for many a man. God, thank you!
There's a place and time for Impercatory Psalms if certain men continue to harden their hearts. You're wise and know how to apply.
Image: Merakist.
Whenever there's a BIG STORY in the media, LOOK for the STORY they're trying to DISTRACT you from. You're wise and know how to apply.
No one has ever died from social media detox.
It is very hard to have a conversation with someone who believes everything that is written on a newspaper.
In a way, social media has taken us backward.
Doublespeak is language that deliberately obscures, disguises, distorts, or reverses the meaning of words.
All journalists; okay, a majority of journalists, whether on the right or the left [or the middle], are guilty of doublespeak.
Language corrupted is society endangered.
I'll speak and write my mind.
Power and control is the end game.
Let man fancy his plans, but God does whatever He pleases, and no man can thwart His plans. Do you know the story of Babel?

“David said to Gad, “I am in deep distress. Let us fall into the hands of the LORD, for his mercy is great; but do not let me fall into human hands.”

– 2 Samuel 24:14.

Personal Meditation on Speech (Part 7)

Image: Priscilla Du Preez.
Let your spoken words be few.
Resolve to never waste any word, whether written or spoken. Be precise and only select intentional words that will pass the intended message.
A tongue with many words is pregnant of sin.
"A sharp tongue is worse than a sharp sword."
Image: Sven Brandsma.
Man's chief problem started with words, "Did God really say?"
I believe it is a mark of godliness to tame the tongue. Sometimes silence is the favorable answer. "But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge — to the great amazement of the governor" (Matt. 27:14).
If you want to destroy a whole generation, corrupt their thoughts, it will eventually corrupt their speech!
Language is simple. We struggle to be intellectuals. You're wise and know how to apply.
Image: Kaja Reichardt.
Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
A careless speech is the undoing of many a man.
Chatter mouths may mean well, but they do a lot of harm; this is unwell.
Image: Tingey Injury Law Firm.
Lawyers and magistrates love chatter mouths. Why? They understand firsthand many [careless] words are capable of winning them a case.
Let your written speech be full of matter and less of chatter. Ink every word like a shot bullet with an aim at end.
The test of a man is the words he speaks [and write] when his world is crumbling down before him.
Alas! It is easy to control our appetites than the tongue!
May God forgive me for every useless word I have ever uttered; it is sad for I fear it will not be very long until I speak another useless word.
Image: DiamondRehab Thailand.
Drunken men think they are extremely intelligent.
In some rare cases, a drunkard can give you a word for a season. Their words may shoot deeply where the sober will often miss. You're wise and know how to apply.
Image: Miguel Henriques.
Think before you speak and write; and when you speak and write, do not forget to think.
Be content to not have the last word; be wary to have the first word.
"I'm sorry," "Thank you," "You're welcome," & "I don't know," etc., is the best speech. "I'm sorry" and "Thank you" is the father and mother of speech.
If you have words to really say, do not say them. If you have a word to say, say it.
Our lack of clarity is due to our abundant of speech.
As an introvert, it is good, in this case, to have friends who talk a lot. I mean, they do most of my talking in social settings! I win, they lose!
Image: Franco Antonio Giovanella.
We know an individual by hearing their words.
Jesus Christ was and is a Man of few words, you know. He spoke in parables! You're wise and know how to apply!
Jesus never saw eye-to-eye with Simon Peter when it came to speech. "Get behind thee, Satan!"
If we have itching fingers, we'll have loose lips. Watch yourself circumspectly.
Image: Leighann Blackwood.
The only excuse I can excuse for long speech is whenever a Christ-exalting sermon is being preached! But alas! When it comes to this today, everyone is busy looking at their wrist!

We can do good to men when we learn when to stop talking. "Seriously, STOP talking!"
Our conversations are often cold because our speech lacks warmth.
The best advice I can give to young people and the old folk today is: consider your words carefully before they come out.
Think in plenty, speak in few.
Image: Glen Carrie.
Let our speech comfort the weak, awaken the dead, and give hope to the hopeless.
Humility is knowing when not to speak.
A lot of wars could have been avoided if men watched their words.
There are twenty-six alphabet letters, not twenty-six million!
There is great encouragement in reading books, you know. They keep many a man from useless talk.
Love can be communicated through the eyes, words do not always work; in fact, words is a world of trouble. You're wise and know to apply.
Thank God for designing the mouth! It is not always meant to be open, but to also close!
We need a friend who knows when to talk and when to shut up; but you must first be a friend who knows when to talk and when to shut up.
Image: Harli Marten.
The speech of love is a love of speech.
Words are sensitive; be circumspect how you apply them.
Even in hell, the tongue is capable of cussing.
Politicians talk a lot, but alas; their performance damns them.
When going for a date, before you leave the house, both of you, check in with your tongue.
Do not attempt to be a Shakespeare in courtship relationships; be you! You're wise and know how to apply.
I'm not an expert [of] love relationships, but I do know words really matter; thoughtful words, not crude!
Wedding vows are not signs, but words. These wedding vows, consisting of words, must be lived out within the concerned wedded couple; male and female!
Children are very keen how daddy talks to mommy, and vice versa! Be sure of that!
A quarrelling wife is a curse to her husband; a fisting husband is an injury to his wife.
Godly words breed a godly home.
"Have a nice day at work today, honey. I love you!" - Wife. "I'll miss you, my beloved wife. I can't wait to share everything, good and bad, that happens to me today at work when I return to your [magic] arms later this evening." - Husband.
When tempted to gossip about others in your marriage bed, gossip to one another about your love for one another.
It is not rocket science. You can tell if love exists by how a couple speak to one another while present and when one of them is absent. I learned this from my late grandpa. He was a careful observer; he always got it right!
I strongly believe the best gift a man can give to his future children is finding them a godly mother: a woman of godly speech, godly deeds, a godly way of life, and a woman who is first and foremost, God's choice!
Image: Brooke Cagle
Words once let out, cannot return. Think before you speak, and before you speak, think.
I'm content to be thought a fool.
Jesus Christ got it right: let your yes, be yes; and no, no.
Boasting is speech made dirty.
Two things can make civilization stand strong: the wise use of pen and application of the tongue.
Being a talker does not mean you should always be talking.
If you are wise, you will keep quiet.
I do not know if it's utter foolishness from my side or sheer ignorance from my fellows when I pretend to not know the subject they are discussing. Like I said, I'm content to be thought foolish.
Garrulity is yakking, and yakking is garrulity.
Humble your tongue and all will be well with you.
Image: Brett Jordan.
Let your words, whether written or spoken, be full of grace, not fool of words.
Do not flatter.
Our words, inevitably, is the mirror of our own thoughts.
It is easy to gossip than pray for the one we are gossipping about.
God takes serious care about our speech. Alas! How we've all fallen in this; we've all sinned with our tongue!
Lord Jesus, teach us to speak, but more so, teach us wisdom to shut up!
Never be ashamed to say "I don't know" when you don't know. More than these words lacketh no sin. Be wise.
There's beauty in comfortable silence.
Image: Sincerely Media.
Knowing when to end a conversation is a way of life.
Keep baneful talk away from you; keep yourself from baneful company.
Having a tremulous tongue can save you.
I can tolerate a zany friend, but not a careless tongue.
A jocund companion is a worthwhile partnership.
There's no harm to surcease conversations that will eventually end, or threat to end, in toxic mood.
A miniscule error of the tongue is still an error. You're wise and know how to apply.
Let us be prudish in our talk, not stupid.
Puissant tongues can, and have, caused world wars!
Subsistence, in this time of inflation, is difficult; how much more maintaining the tongue!
Where there are no words, speak and invent none.
Do not be too quick to defend yourself when unjustly accused. Be calm. Assemble your thoughts and later speak after the gathering of your thoughts so as not to waste any words, even one syllable. And, should the situation prove otherwise to convince, be content to be thought a fool. After all, there may be some truths in the accusation!
What ruins men is the words we utter after things do not go as we thought they would.
A murmuring tongue is best sanctified by a thankful heart; a thankful heart is the redemption of a murmuring tongue.
What is silence? Tongue put under control.
Doublespeak is language that deliberately obscures, disguises, distorts, or reverses the meaning of words.
All politicians, whether on the right or the left, [or the middle], are guilty of doublespeak. It (doublespeak) is the language of politics.
Shhh...Big Brother is watching you!
I work for the Department of War; oops, sorry. I mean, I work for the Department of Defense! You're wise and know how to apply.
Language corrupted is society endangered.
Doublespeak is a form of truth, but not truth.
Everyone today has some things to say, but not something that needs to be said.
The cure of words is silence; the surgeon of speech is conciseness.

Snippet Thoughts on Media Narrative (Part 2)

The only way the mainstream media can get their narrative together is when Truth calls for a conference and then we'll consider. Impossible, though.
Every piece of 'truth' the mainstream media reports is half-truths or no truth at all.
Where there is truth these days it is termed as conspiracy, but where there is falsehood, it is called factual.
"According to experts" is often times according to non-existent "experts".
I'm afraid five years from now we'll not know the meaning of journalism. Well, I'm afraid we're already here!
Media houses, like many politicians, are gurus of deceit.

Random Thoughts on Issues of the Day (Part 9)

Photo by Ivan Diaz on Unsplash.

“The Tyrant dies and his rule is over, the martyr dies and his rule begins.”

– Soren Kierkegaard.

Where logic is abandoned, all nonsense can be expected. Or, should I say, nonsense everywhere! We forget (or know) that Rome wasn’t built in a day; but we forget greatly that it [Rome] fell once!

“God was but six days in making the whole world, yet seven days destroying one city.”

– John Trapp.

Our age [21st Century] has gone full blown towards sin. Today words, even those that had straight meaning, have been polluted with the so-called “equality” and “social justice” campaigns. These “liberation” claims run with themes which seem to me to be total rubbish, noise. But more of that in part 10.

Sundry governments around the world are bullying their citizens to inject substance into their bodies. If they fail, “government services will not be provided.” As if the government exists to do favors. No! The government is not a favor arm, but a service arm, to all people, for all people.

Politicians are masters of deceit and contradiction. These are class of people who succeed in one thing—divide. And I might add one more—control. The government finds joy in dividing its citizens and then control. You cannot control people who are united. Well then, the dividing is clearly represented today by the vaxxed and the unvaxxed.

Families are being broken in the name of “vaccines” and what-not. Friendships are being put to a litmus test of “I don’t feel comfortable around you anymore because you’re not vaccinated [as I am!].” So? “Unless you get vaccinated, I’ll be in danger.”

But you’re vaccinated, right? “Yes!” Then why/what are you afraid [of] me if you’re protected from that which is a danger to you? Silence. Ignorance forces silence.

Again, as we wrote last time, the protected need to be protected from the unprotected by forcing the unprotected to use the protection that didn’t protect the protected. Either I’m a lunatic or the one questioning me is. It must be one or the other. You be the judge.

It is to be feared that although the dark secrets of our government has been exposed, they do not fear an ounce, at least when people continue to believe “the government wants what’s best for us.” Yeah, right! The government wants what’s best for them, not you, not me. It’s a sad reality; it’s the effect of sin (Gen. 3).

If we fear offending people because our opinion may seem to be too harsh, then, I say, we’ll become puppets who follow everything. Power-mongers want people who cooperate, not people who raise concerns, logical concerns. If you dare ask or try to get some clarification on some matters you’re called unloving. Not caring.

On matters involving feminism and social justice movement. I have a few words (more on part 12). Their foundation is built on sand. Give it time, it will go under.

The “elite” as they call themselves will continue silencing us; but we must continue speaking and writing. Who knows?! Maybe one day our words will land on sensible ears, not feelings. Trust no feeling that forces you to abandon reason.

Random Thoughts on Issues of the Day (Part 4)

“The world is engaged in the largest clinical trial, the largest global vaccination trial ever, and we will have enormous amounts of data.”

– Department of Health.

The writer is not a stoic or in any way seek to undermine the pain of those who have lost their loved ones through Covid. I’m truly saddened by all these. May God of all comfort, comfort us who are under this crucible of suffering. I, among them. Very well, then.

Welcome to a time before a nightmare. A Gestapo regime is here —”Where are your papers?” Because many will think this is about vaccines, let me set the record straight. If you want to get the jab, by all means, take it! It’s your choice and I’m not going to view you any different because you’ve taken the vaccine. No.

My chief contention is on compulsory government vaccine mandates – and the obvious hate passed to the unvaccinated. I’ve been called many awful names when I share my unpopular view(s) during these hard times. I’m not bitter and neither am I afraid of any man.

But I’ll not keep silent when something needs to be said. I’ll not, truthfully, follow something that does not make sense, logical sense.

You know, ‘fear is an extremely powerful psychological tool, that has been used by politicians always,’ notes a holocaust survivor, ‘the Nazis were particularly adept at it.’

The times we are living in is in many ways carbon copy of what took place before the holocaust. The government, again, as I’ll keep on emphasizing, is not for the people but against its people.

The government is the real virus.

We now have a class of “subhuman” fellows, that is, the unvaccinated. The vaccinated is scared of the unvaccinated. It is the unvaccinated fella, who, they say, is the reason why Covid is still here. ‘It is not the responsibility of the unvaccinated to protect the vaccinated.’ That’s the vaccines job! Plainly put,

‘The protected need to be protected from the unprotected by forcing the unprotected to use the protection that didn’t protect the protected.’

Again, the issue here is not about vaccines; it is about totalitarian regimes taking place right under our noses. And if we speak against such signs, we’re labelled immediately to be conspiracy theorists. Let me show you how a totalitarian regime will look like, or looks like:

You’ll need to produce papers 24/7. We’ll need papers to enter restaurants, bars, concerts, casinos, conventions and hotels and to board a train, plane or bus. We’ll need papers to enter a supermarket, or we’ll starve to death. We’ll need papers to visit our families. All for the crime of being unvaccinated!

And God forbid, you’ll need papers to go and worship God with other brethren in your local church.

The scary thing about all this is people are led by emotions rather than pause and reflect on what’s really happening. Others, of course, know what is happening but are scared to speak up. Others fear losing people’s opinion of them, good opinion, for that matter. They do not want to offend anyone, just impress.

Not that we go on ahead to offend because we desire to do so, but because for some things to be heard; we need to say what others aren’t saying. Call the elephant in the room.

I’d not want my children or anyone to grow under the Gestapo’s. Children are now being trained to be suspicious. “They might be infected, they might infect me.” Of course, that’s the Media’s job — to pass out fear! Why? Because fear sells!

On issue of vaccine passports. Again, an absolute desire for a totalitarian survelliance state. It’d be good if folks would care enough and study history. Also, I’d challenge men and women instead of being rushed to forcing men to follow everything the state says, to also take time and carefully be informed.

Do not let the state make you a villian to your own family. That’s what Satan wants — the destruction of families!

Some of you reading this may have a medical knowledge or perhaps, practicing medicine! I’d remind us of the oath you took — to protect lives. Not by use of propaganda and fear.

To the elders of a church and to the brethren of Christ. It is not Scriptural of you to refuse entry into your services a subgroup of society (unvaccinated) based on their medical choice. Only Jesus Christ has the authority to regulate the terms of corporate worship, not the government!

These, in a sense, tells you are to make no distinction between those who call out in faith, neither on race or medical choice.

The gospel should be proclaimed to all men—vaccinated and the unvaccinated. Therefore, to refuse members access to corporate worship would be to betray our Saviour and openly disobey His great commission.

To members (and also leaders) of a local congregation. Do not coerce the conscience of others. The ‘conscience is one of the innermost expressions that annimates an individual, and that allows them to worship God as well as obey a legitimate governing authority.

The conscience is the immediate contact of God’s presence in a person’s soul, and so an individual forced to act in a way that is objectionable to their conscience will never be at peace, either before God or before the state.

A government that endeavours to force or coerce an individual who is striving to honour God, will find that they only encounter resistance.

A government should never coerce conscience, but rather respect the important function that it carries in aiding a person to worship God freely and live obediently before the state.’

So then, on issues of vaccines, as stated above, if some ‘people have made the decision and have already taken the jab, that is their right,’ and it cannot be abrogated. But those who are not ready, or hesitant, also have their valid reasons why they are not in a rush.

Their conscience binds them to wait, and their Saviour advised them not to make decisions before they have counted the cost.

This is a principle of wisdom, that everyone applies to many aspects of their lives.’ The government, or any other corporate body or individual, be it in public or private, should not coerce the conscience of its people.

Neither, I say, should the state or any other person, label those who question these things as unloving. To conclude that is a fallacy devoid of sound reasoning. Having said that, this declaration article here has some nice things to say.

You’re wise and know how to apply.
