If you look closely, you’ll see.

Here are some thought-provoking quotes from the pen of, George Orwell:

“Reality exists in the human mind, and nowhere else.”

"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except the endless present in which the party is always right.”

"If you want to keep a secret, you must also hide it from yourself."

  1. As I often have quoted of late, “Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.” These are some of Orwell’ moments.
He really way a genius in human terms, and an honest social critic, a rarity among popular fiction writers. Very few from his mold in today’s society.
